Edna V. Wenning, Esq., received her bachelor’s degree from
the University of the Philippines (UP) where she was a recipient
of the UP-and the Philippine Government (UP-Govt.) Scholarship Program
from freshman to graduation, and her law degree from the Glendale
University College of Law, California. She became a member of the
State Bar of California in December 1987. She has represented a
wide range of companies and individuals as an associate of defense
firms including Galvin & Dwyer (now known as Lovich & Penn)
and the Law Offices of James M. Shields (formerly Shields, Garrison
and Misity). As a litigation defense attorney she was awarded the
Staff Counsel Quality Award for Outstanding service and highest
quality representation of client in the Los Angeles County L-Tryptophan
Litigation. She attended the Program of Instruction for Lawyers
at Harvard University College of Law, Summer, 1994. She has been
in private practice since 1996. Edna is a member of the Los Angeles
County Bar Association (LACBA); American Immigration Lawyers Association
(AILA). She is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of the
State of California; United States District Court for the Central
District of California; United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth
Circuit; Admitted Pro Hac Vice, United States District Court, Northern
District of Georgia, 2002.
